Launching high speed cruise ship capable of sea state 8 on route Phu Quoc – Rach Gia
On July 22, Hoa Binh maritime transport corporation (Phu Quoc, Kien Giang) officially launched the high speed cruise ship carrying 304 passengers from Phu Quoc to Rach Gia, and vice versa.
Vietnamese marine engineers are entirely responsible for the ship design. The ship is constructed based on European nautical standards. Overall the design is a single hull, aluminium alloy ship, with 47.6m in length, 5.8m in width, 1.15 m in waterline length, and total weight of 150 ton.
Hoa Binh SHIP 01 has two US Caterpillar engines producing 2160 horsepower. As a result, the ship is capable of reaching 27 knots per hour and resisting sea state of 8. Moreover transporting from Phu Quoc to Rach Gia is now just 2 hours and a half.
During a 2 hour and a half voyage, passengers can enjoy luxurious, air conditioned interior with on board entertainments and a large TV screen. Exclusively in the VIP cabin, there are wider leather seats with a private toilet.
To enjoy this conveniently fast cruise ship, passengers can book a ticket in either options. A seat in the economic deck, 330.000 dong per person. And 500.000 dong in the VIP cabin. Debarking time from Phu Quoc to Rach Gia is 7h30 and returning at 12h30, daily.
With the newly launched Hoa Binh SHIP 01, traveling to Phu Quoc has never been so easy and convenient. Heavy loads of passengers are reduced thanks to the four ships setting sail from the island.
