One of the most Instagramable spots in Phu Quoc must be the wooden swing hanging on the “legendary” coconut tree. And there are a couple of reasons why this destination is much loved by both local islanders and visitors.

First of all, the coconut tree lies at Sao beach, one of the top must-visit destinations for any tourists. The idea of the wooden swing was first thought up and implemented about 5 years ago by Mr Bo Xuan Bui, an entrepreneur providing deck chairs for rent.

Months later some foreigners visited him and said this ” legend of the coconut tree” was highly recommended by their friends. The tree with a swing did not gain popularity until 3 years ago, he added.

Thanks to his brilliant idea, the coconut tree is attracting more and more Phu Quoc vacationers.

Second, a wooden swing hanging on a coconut tree facing the deep blue sea is truly a scenic background for many couples looking for their perfect wedding album.

The best time during the day to visit the destination is from 10h to 15h. Locating near the end of Sao beach coastline also makes the attraction suitable for tourists who prefer serenity and privacy.

In harmony with nature, the coconut tree with its swing has proven itself as an exotic tropical destination.
