Rach Vem fishing village on Phu Quoc Island has attracted a large number of visitors to its pristine natural scenery, exciting experiences and fresh seafood.
Rach Vem fishing village is located in Ganh Dau commune, about 40km from Duong Dong town on Phu Quoc Island. To get to the fishing village, visitors have to travel through the primeval forest or come along Duong Dong Road-Bai Thom Beach.
After crossing the primeval forest on motorbike, travelers can test themselves by walking over the hundred – metre wooden bridges to visit local restaurants and enjoy fresh seafood.
Many fishing boats moor at the wharf.
